Paul Maker
MakOps was founded by Paul Maker, a software architect, engineering leader and AI consultant with more than 25 years of experience across software engineering, architecture, product delivery and technical leadership.
Paul’s career has ranged from hands-on software engineering and technical architecture to building engineering teams and holding Global Technical Director responsibility within a FinTech business.
Today, his work increasingly focuses on practical applications of artificial intelligence: designing AI-enabled products, agentic workflows and intelligent business processes, while helping organisations adopt AI effectively within software engineering itself.
That combination of current AI experience and a long engineering background shapes the MakOps approach: understand the business problem first, use AI where it genuinely helps, and engineer the resulting system properly.
